It's not a hard language to learn (if you already speak Spanish, Italian or French, it will be even easier) although the pronunciation takes some getting used to. You will open the hearts of the Brazilians once you start communicating in Portuguese and find opportunities that you never knew existed. The other great thing about Portuguese is that Brazilians speak the same language all over the country, there are no dialects, just different accents which are not hard to get used to.
